Im a teen with anxiety- HELP

I have anxiety and from it i get sick and nausiated. I also have stomch which the anxiety makes atleast 10 times worse. I have stayed out if school a lot because i was sick now im falling behind and failing everyclass with 20 to 16 avraged and im only a freshman.. I feel likeim becoming depressed and i show sone depression symptoms such as withdrawl from the social life i once played such a big part in and used to enjoy but now ive becone somewhat of a hermit, only talking to close friends. My mom doesnt realise it yet but i think shes getting the idea. I broke down crying lastnight and this morning so i think she understands that im not quite right. I used to be strong and i used to get decent grades. My beat friend and i are thinking of submitting ourselfs into a phych ward for a week or so if its possible. Do you think that would help or do you think i should tell my mom flat out? Do you think my oncoming depression is related to my anxiety and stress?

Thank you for your help, i really need some guidence.

You truly need to talk to your mom so that she knows just how bad you're feeling.  I'm sure she's already concerned but she needs to hear from you just how bad it is. You don't belong in a psych ward, nor could you go without parental permission.  Your parents love you and would want to know what's going on, give them the opportunity to help you.  There is so much help for you without going into the hospital.  Know you're not alone, we hear from a lot of teens just like you.  Sit down and talk to your mom, and be totally honest with her about it all. Take care....
