Sounds to me you suffer fom "***** bladder, much like I. One thing to consider is that when we are anxious or nervous, we do tend to pee a lot more. When we get nervous we tend to tighten up, and this will affect the frequncy of evacuation. If there is nothing wrong with the urine, ie, blood, foul smell, unusualy color, I'd bet that you are just worrying for the sake of worrying, because you are like many of us, worry warts!
You may be going through what I have learned what many anxiety sufferers go through, whcih is bouts of germaphobia and hypochondria. We tend to dewll on disturbing thoughts, and they don't go away, driving us mad. I recommend finding distractions in your life like reading, taking nature walks, hot baths, and also, just for you'r eown personal comfort and satisfaction, get a thorough medical check up done, just to ease our mind. When th etests xome back that your heart is healthy, your cholesterol is OK, and your bloodwork reveals a healthy young person, it make s a big difference in how we interet any bodily sensations, and helps to keep our scary thoughts in perspective.
Reading up on anxiety and coping mechanisms is also a good idea. Remember that anxiety is nothing to be ashamed about, and can rear itself in many different ways. OCD, hypochondria, depression, etc. Th emore we know about our bodies and brains, and the mre we work to keep negative thoughts at bay, the better we are able to cope with the distress of our panic.
Yeah I'm sure you are fine. Sometimes we take our body functions and sensations for granted, and ignore them over th eyears. Then once we become conscious of them, we can place too much emphasis on things, and worry ouselves over nothing. I'm certain you'll be OK, without a doubt.
They deleted it, that said, "B-I-T-C-H bladder!"
(LOL) thank you Last year I had a problem like this and I went to doctors after doctors and it went away now it came back again now Im a little worried again..
I can think of 4 major causes for excessive urination:
1) Stress/anxiety
2) A UTI (urinary tract infection)
3) Pregnancy
4) Consumption of a diuretic (caffeine, for example).
If you dont have any other symptoms, that makes option 2) and 3) very unlikely; I believe they sell over the counter kits at the grocery store to check for a UTI infections. Do you have to get up every 1.5 h during the night to pee or is it just during the day?
It is just during the day.....
Then it really sounds like either stress/anxiety, consumption of a diuretic, or perhaps increased fluid intake. You said this happened last year, was it during summer? Are you drinking more than usual, or eating more food with a lot of water content (fruit) ? What kinds of beverages do you drink during the day? Since this only happens during the day, it really doesnt sound like anything to worry about but if we can figure out what the cause is, I think that will help reduce your anxiety over this.
Tell ya the truth I don't drink alot of fluids or eat alot of fruit.....This is what I ate and drink today....I had 1 cup of coffee I had tuna fish sandwich , and supper burger with potoe salad and I had a half of cup of milk....That is it.....thank you for helping me....... I hate worrying.... Last year it was around september and they did blood sugar test UTI test and everything was normal... Im getting this again..
I'm very sensitive to caffeine. In fact, one cup of coffee causes me to go to the bathroom 4-5 times within a 2 h period! You could always try cutting out all caffeine for one day (coffee, soda, tea, chocolate) and see if that eleviates your symptoms - it never hurts to try.
In the absence of other symptoms, it seems likely that stress is is the culprit. You have certainly been under a lot of stress lately and moving is one of the most stressful events in ones life!
how come stress can cause frequent urination?
hi this is barbar . hows the packing going you should be moving soon huh. i have a really bad uti right now, guess where i got it . from 6 weeks of anxiety, i dont drink maybe a glass or two a day and its not water plus while in my anxiety mind i ate maybe a few bites aday. so yes it does cause it . i have had for a week been on meds for it and its still here , yes i go to bathroom a lot when stressed/anxiety thats one of my things i do. so anxiety and stress can very much cause you to go more than you are used to. so try and relax its not a big problem it wont hurt you just makes you walk a lot to restroom .
(LOL) Thank you I have been in so much stress and when you feel a sympton you get more worried just get frustrated going to the bathroon like every hour.......Im sure it will pass after I get moving done.......Your saying to anxiety can make you urinate alot....I know I don't have a UTI that is why I think it's stress/anxiety.......
I don't think I have a UTI so stress/anxiety can cause this with out a UTI?
hello bip, There is a product called azo, it is a cranberry pill to take everyday. Naturally to help with uti infections. You might want to try that. I have had chronic sinusitis for 3 yrs.I am beginning to think stress has something to do with this. hope you get better. Im here for you. Have a good day
i had the same sitation too. I
got my first panic attack at begining of may. After that I am expeiencing breathing problem , tightness of chest. Now i had UTI
after i took medincine, it goes away, after i stop medincine it comes back. Now I am on medincine again.
I think you should check with your doctor first. then you will know what is the cause of the problem.
I pee constantly......just for your information!!!
Also, a uti would be very painful when you pee. If you had a uti you would know it!!!
thanks everyone Im going to the doctors on friday just to make sure Im fine.....It will ease my mind........It's a pian running in the bathroom constantly.....(LOL)
You may be nerbvous and therefore driking alot. The other night I thought I felt dehydrated because my nerves were screwing with my eating patterns. I drank two gatorades and a ton of water. Needless to say that I peed every 30 minutes as I shotgunned water. You're fine. Plus nerves make you have to go more often.
