Is this anxiety?

I have had crazy sensations under the skin like crawling, butterfly feeling or pulsing mostly on my face and feet but occasionally felt in my limbs too.  It is pretty fleeting and sometimes there is a stinging sensation.  I had rashes that went away almost entirely.  I also felt it in my ears and nose although the ears are getting better.  Is this anxiety?  At first I was scared it was parasites but would they really get so much better?  I also have no real itching.  I have eczema which has gotten better due to diatomaceous earth.  Most parasite symptoms I don't have.  There is no diarhea, I have always had a nervous stomach but even that is occasional and does not really produce loose stools.  Some times I scratch at the sensations but that is mostly in my nose and by my eye.  I have taken a few anxiety pills which seemed to aid the rashes in getting better and took away a lot of the crawling feeling.  It does not seem to be working as well now.  Help me?  is this anxiety? Stress?

It's definitely not parasite related.  I feel your worrying about exactly "what" is causing these feelings is creating even more anxiety. Many people suffering with anxiety get this feeling. Have your doctor address the anxiety so that you can either rule it out or in. Water may be your "comfort food" so to speak.  We all have things we eat or drink that eases our anxiety and water may be yours.  You need to address the anxiety as well as see a dermatologist to see if there are any skin conditions that can cause what you're feeling. There are medical conditions that cause this and blood work would tell if they apply to you.
But with your fear of bugs and worrying that a parasite or something bug related is causing this is creating a lot of anxiety in you.  I hope you get some relief soon, I'm sure it's frustrating.  Best wishes.

thanks you guys you helped a lot.  i haven't been to see the doctor again yet but i think it may have been a combo of dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance

my doctor thinks that it is a mixture of both.  I am scared of the whole bug thing.  I think I scared myself to death with the whole morgellons thing.  I am kind of ready for it to go away.  If there is no pain and not a significant amount of itching it can't be parasites right?  I also noticed that the more water I drink the better the weird sensations get.

You might have to keep looking at both ends of your problem to be sure.  I had crawling feelings under my arms and the antianxiety medications helped.  I needed higher doses and you might also.  Please let them know about that symptoms.

I think it could be stress causing anxiety but the skin symptoms sound like restless body syndrome

While some of us with anxiety/panic can have some bizzare crawling sensations, especially during an attack, it really isn't a difinitive symptom of anxiety. Since you don't seem to have any of the "classic" symptoms of anxiety, I'd suggest seeing a dermatologist. In my humble and non-medical opinion, I think the skin issue is causing the slight anxiety, not the other way around. Only your doctor can tell you for sure what's going on and that's who I suggest you consult.
