headaches and forgetfulness

Hey, my name's Eduardo i am 20 years old, and i have been recieving these chronic headaches, forgetfulness, lethargy, energy drains away from just doing laundry!!! etc.
D octor diagnosed me with Adhd, but i do not believe i have it. Reason being when taking medications for it, it doesnt work for what it is meant to do. Other thing is im starpped on with these headaches its hard to think and also talk properly, i just keep saying i forgot this word etc. Ijust need answers please. I read an article before about this lady getting a head injury, and other people recommending her to get a CT scan, well i havent had any head injuries but should i get a scan?

I noticed you posted this in the ADHD forum which is good, are you also having contiuned anxiety? that is interfering with your life? I would wait and see what they say in that room? also get a physical, but my question to you, is why are you not believing what your Dr. is telling you, but are considering a CT? do not add to your Anxiety!

get a physical if you have not already had one (which I would think you would of, if you are on meds) and if these meds are not working, get a second opionion and be willing to accept the out come of that. wish you luck,

Has the dr done a thyroid panel on you? Thyroid disease has the same symptoms, and is so easily ignored by just giving the pt an anti depressant. Have you researched Hypothyroidism? I would recommend you do that, and you will see what I am talking about.

Hope you feel better.

Yes this will help rule anything serious out.  After that you can get on with life.  Anxiety is a real bugger......  Make the doctor rule out all possibilities.
