How long were you on Lexapro and how long did it take you to taper off of it? I noticed some side effects when I came of an SSRI like it and I went back to my doctor and asked to see if I could come off of it slower which helped me tremendously.
I felt better after a month or so, but I also believe that it can be confusing, because in my experience, it may not be the side effects of coming off it, but the return of the anxiety in some situations. Are you currently in counseling for your anxiety? Keep us posted!
Wow, that same thing happened to me. I tapered myself off Lexapro last October and felt dizzy like passing out for a good 4 months. I apperently wasn't ready to be off of them, I winded up getting worse and had a full blown panic attack in February and another one last month. I'm back on Lexapro, apperently I wasn't doing okay off of them. You should really make sure you did it slow enough, check with your doctor and make sure you let them know you're feeling this way. You may have to go back on for a little longer. I hope this helps you. Good Luck and I hope you feel better.
