Need help with meds

After taking some LSD 5 weeks ago i became sick and anxious for the following 4 days. After that i was fine for 2 weeks and now it has been with me for the past 2 weeks. I have had the drug before but have not experienced this constant anxiety from it. I have been off the drugs, alcohol and tobacco for 3 weeks now. I'm on a really healthy diet too. I still cant get rid off this anxiety, it stops me from doing all the things i love. I'm wondering if these feelings will go away, as the LSD is well out of my system. I take Valium when it gets really bad. Ive tried kava pills but they make my stomach ache. I need some advise with meds or natural practices. Meditation, acupuncture, massage, therapy etc. People with similar experiences or help would be appreciated. Thanks ;-)

Long term effects from a 'bad lsd trip' are not uncommon.  it's effects on the brain are also still poorly understood.  Personally I think it triggers off problems in people who would probably have experienced problems at some point anyway after a stress related life event.
It sounds as if you have been 'self medicating' with drugs and alcohol for some time.
If you haven't already, you should speak with a psychiatrist and discus your history and current anxiety problems with him/her. They will help you determine what is LSD related and what is anxiety disorder and how to go about treating your symptoms and their cause.
Take care.

Hey all thanks for the advise. I have been trying everything natrual and "risk free" to help my anxiety. Ive been to a phycologist, i went to get some acucpuncture yesterday which was a little helper, im taking chinese herbs that help the liver and spleen, im aslo taking vitimin b and fish oil. I still feel anxious most days and was interested if anyone could give some advise on meds that might help me if it comes down to that. Im still off the alcohol and tobacco so i guess that is a plus! I am getting broke and depressed trying to find the right answer.
Thanks

Although I certainly do not condone taking LSD, the drug itself does not cause any physical longterm brain damage or physically affect the brain after it leaves your system. Now, it certainly IS possible that you took a hit that had another chemical or drug mixed in that you didnt know about, but again, it would not likely cause longterm anxiety. More than likely, you have an anxiety disorder, such as genarlized anxiety disorder. Go see a doctor. Valium is a strong medication, and probably not the best for everyday anxiety that you are experiencing. Do remember too, if you have only just stopped tobacco a few weeks ago, increased anxiety is a common withdrawel symptom. I would see a doctor. The doc can prescribe something mild and nonaddictive like Hydroxyzine (VIstaril, Atarax), which might work for you. Hope you feel better.
