New symptoms

Hi all,the last couple of days I have been getting centre chest pains, sometimes out of the blue and other times when moving, bending, moving arms etc.also been getting pain in left and right arm, just now I all of a sudden just out of the blue felt like I couldn't swallow.every now and then I seem to be getting more and more different symptoms,I have also noted a while back that if I consume alcohol,I get skipped heart beat.it's a seems as anxiety keeps getting worse, and nowhere to go for support as I don't have the money to go se phychiatrist.I have been to gp numerous times with chest pains etc and skipped beats but when I get there everything is normal and ecg shows nothing.does this all sound like anxiety.I have lots of financial worries as I am currently unemployed and worry about finding work and paying debt.I don't get panic attacks where my heart race etc, just all this sometimes individual symptoms.

Your best bet is to see a psychologist and get on meds. I understand not having insurance. Maybe be you can get state insurance since your unemployed. If not I would go to the ER and tell them about the anxiety symptoms and they will most likely give you something like xanax to help

Yes to me this does sound like anxiety. We don't have to have full blown panic attacks for it to be anxiety. It can come with all different kinds of symptoms.
Have you talked to your Dr about the stress you've been under? He's hearing about your symptoms and he may be a little stumped as to what they are and why you're having them. You have to talk to him about your stress.
The only thing I know to recommend as far as therapy is a teaching college. It can be a regular college but some of them have a counseling program where people are getting their degrees and need patients for their training. The charge depends on your income. If you have little to no income they may charge nothing or maybe 10 or 20 dollars per session.
So, I would recommend calling any colleges that are close to you and ask if they have this kind of program. I also recommend your see your GP again and tell him about your stress. I like to see people try therapy first because that might be all they need. But, in some cases there is also medication available. It can be an anti anxiety med or an antidepressant, which helps both depression and anxiety.
We're always here to listen and help anyway we can.
