Panic Attacks

I have had a lot of medical issues  the past couple of years, more so in the past few months. I lost two of my closest friends, a boyfriend, and siblings, because they got tired of dealing with a sick person or did not believe me. I have become a hermit now. Whenever I do dare to go outside I feel like everyone is staring at me and I cannot relax anymore. I am even having panic attacks in my car and have to pull over to catch my breath. I am to scared to go grocery shopping and I am starting to feel like I am losing my mind. I used to have a very care free attitude until I started to feel so alone. Am I going crazy? Or do I just feel abanded? Does anyone know how to control these panic attacks so I can atleast go shopping?

I had 3 panic attacks come a few weeks ago, i havent had any for about a month before hand, mine last for about an hour they come and stop and come back and stop back and fourth, and ive had a few now like this. Im a Audio Engineer / Musician and ive found that mine come if im thinking about a show im about to play, or if im working on mixing a bands project etc. I start to get nervous and an attack comes on. So i found that this is one of my triggers for an attack, Im getting ready for a show tomorrow and today started to feel the anxiety coming, once it started i began to think, "ive done these before, everythings always been fine" then afterwards the anxiety started to go, physical sensations started to go, and only lasted about a minute. It got me thinking about the other attacks i had and what the triggers for them were, and i had most of them before a show or mixing a song etc. So i think ive found a way to stop or more likely reduce my anxiety at least, and im going to try to find what my other triggers are also. So identify what your triggers are and try to resolve them the best you can. Ive been taking medication for about 2 months now this has helped me also. Hope this helps. wish you the best

No you are not going crazy, everything you feel is real to you. You have taken the first step and reached out for some help.  You will get a lot of information about what is happening to you from other sufferers in this forum and also good support.  You need to know that you can be well again and that by understanding what is happening to you and how to control it  with the use of medication, relaxtion and meditation and most importantly at this early stage breathing techniques.  From your message it doesnt look like you have gone for any medical help? I think that is the first step to talk to your doctor and right now research on the web about breathing and USE IT.  Perhaps the reason most of your friends have stopped seeing you is because they feel so helpless and dont understand what is happening to you this usually generates their own feelings of fear and insecurity.  Keep in touch and let us know what you are doing to positively take some control of your life.  God Bless you in your healing journey.
