Hey nurse girl
can it cause extreme dizziness? I really dislike medication because of the side effects..
I haven't actually taken them yet as I'm worried, I just feel as though they haven't given me the right meds ? :/
Sometimes they are also prescribed to anxiety sufferers who have a lot of benign cardiac symptoms with their anxiety/panic, like palpitations, PVCs, tachycardia.
It will definitely decrease both your pulse and your blood pressure, so you would want to be extra cautious while you're adjusting to the medication.
Report any problems to your doctor, like dizziness, etc.
How long have you been taking it?
Okay.. Thanks
And no I have non of those , she told me to have them for my head pains (which have sort of disappeared regardless) and my anxiety..I've not had them yet.. Just worried to.. But I've been told of so many times by the doctors.. They keep telling me to have them :/
This type of drug is usually only used for social anxiety or things like stage fright -- do you have those?
Do you have PTSD? If so, I wonder why a beta blocker was prescribed. Usually an alpha blocker is the drug of choice for anxiety/PTSD.
I take Metoprolol ER which is in the same class beta blocker, 25MG 2x day. Beta Blockers slow your heart rate, but I don't feel a difference with mine. The only thing is when exercising, it's harder to get your target heart rate up, but I don't think with your dosage it should make a difference.....
