Prozac causing more anxiety?

Hello,
I have been taking 20mg's of Prozac for about 3 1/2 weeks now and have noticed that my anxiety level (especially early morning has increased) I also take 15mg's of Remeron (generic) in the evening to help with sleep.

Has anyone else had increased anxiety on Prozac?  and do I need to give it longer to work properly?

I was on it 15years ago and it worked very well, I just don't remember the anxiety being this strong.  I'm feeling as though I'm having panic attacks but they don't become full blown...my body gets very hot and I sweat a lot.  Was thinking about decreasing my dose (taking 20mgs every other day) until I see my doctor in a few days.
Thanks

Give it more time, but all ssris can increase anxiety.  They can also decrease it.  And you won't necessarily have the same effect the second time around or the third as you had before.
