I think that always depends on the individual. Some people swim through it, and some have very long difficult cruises. Taper according to how you feel, not some generalization. Good luck.
Yeah I know it is anxiety but it still freak me out because of course I think of all the other things it could be....I hate anxiety!!!
I am getting off it because I am only 28 and I have been on an ssri since I was 18 and might get prego again soon and want to see if I can deal with the anxiety without it. I already have a 4 year old and got off zoloft when I was prego with her no problem.
I actually did ween myself from 10 mg to 5 and then to 2.5 over a period of about a month I am wondering though if I need to give it more time??
How long did you taper off it? Just three days? Cold turkey? With the help of your psychiatrist, one who actually knows how to taper one off ssris?
Why are you getting off of it?
I'm sure the breathing is just the anxiety. A few years ago i literally had an anxiety attack for a good 6 or more months straight...24/7.
Does not take long before my anxiety takes over...I took 2.5 mg of my celexa. Gosh I just want off this stuff!!!!! I guess I could try to take it every other day until I can stop. I am just so mad about this...when I stopped I told myself that was it and I would get through the withdrawls. O well....
