Thank you for thinking of me.  I just got back a little while ago.  Basically, he said that I most likely have Thalassemia Minor and they need to make sure that's all it is and determine whether it is the Alpha or Beta type.  Both types, as I think you know, are non life threatening.  I have to go back on Wednesday to have my blood drawn.  Apparently, they can only perform these types of testing certain days of the week.  So I am remaining positive.  So far so good.  I will let you know when the results are in.
