Random Symptoms
Since coming here we have all shared symptoms that sound similar....twitches, overheating, etc, etc. I have some strange ones.llike smells and tastes and all. Does anyone else get the burning nose or a taste in their mouth?

I officially freaked myself out though because I looked up those things and all I read was "ms" stuff despite the stats. Now I'm thinking of every symptom I have had to fit into it. I'm freaking.:(
Congrats on your MRI! it is OK! they just want you to follow up because of the headaches I bet. If it were anything bad, they would have called you right in...I know how you are feeling, I do it to myself all the time....but remember, the doctors have to cover all bases...

Hopefully not. I don't think so. Look it up is all I can say. I don't think it is it at all. I have to go for the day..these boards are freaking me out.
I really, despite reading random stuff, have to look at the facts here. I got my MRI due to headaches and not to find MS. I'm freaking when it could just be real simple.
size of the feedback...pretty small I think. I guess I'm overreating. I mean if one doctor leaves a note to a nurse saying "mri is ok" and the other 2 say don't worry, I guess I'll trust them.
I don't either. According to her brother, I'd show more lesions for MS and I don't fit the profile. I'm assuming this can be normal from everyones reaction..just weird
I really think you are going to be fine.......Get your second opinion and you will feel so much better.. REMEMBER DON'T READ........Tell you the truth I was searching on the computer to see what it meant but I didn't understand......
She was positive it meant nothing but knows I'm going to freak about it. I mean to her 2 doctors saying it means nothing is good
We all don't know what is going to happen to us in the future we can walk outside right now and get hit buy a bus......Nobody knows when it's our time.....Enjoy your lide your doctor told you it'n nothing then that is good. go see a neuro. see what they said always good for a second opnion........ Me I worry alot but I look on the other side I have my 2 boyz to worry Im moving soon... we all worry but please don't worry about this stuff. You have a baby coming............ Do you have any hobbies you are interest in? What does your wife say about this?
He said it was "ok." I basically thought there was nothing and they just wanted me to do a follow up with a neuro for the headaches. The more I look at it though, the more I fear other stuff. I mean, I'm 37 and already had a fluke heart virus almost kill me...what are the chances of another serious thing?Its ridiculous.
Tell me again what your doctor said......Im confuse to..... He said the MRI is fine.........If he said it's fine then you should be happy...
I looked up stuff and still didn't get an answer. I'm completely confused. Why couldn't it have just been normal. I'm so pissed right now. The message I got yesterday was from one doctor saying.."MRI is ok, come in to get referral to Neuro." This freaked me out. I went staright in. My regular doc said he didn't see anything to worry about. My brother in law said the same when we read it to him. So I'm not sure.
I don't know what they mean........Ask the doctor quiestions tell them you don't ubderstand what they mean....I think your mind is still not eased...
It sounds unlikely to be anything and if it was I'd think the MRI Tech and my doctor would be a little more urgent about what I need to do. My doc tried to explain it but said it came up as nothing. My only question is there were no use of the words lesions or anything like that but they said T2 and Flair and said the flashes were 1cm..does that mena lesion or just image flashes that they couldn't tell on?The docs didn't think they were.
so, they just think it's migranes from stress ..........Gee do you have stress? (LOL) Me.....Im tired, headache feel nausea, and I have a bad headache.....do you think it's a tumor? (LOL) joking just trying to make you laugh.......
The T2 or FLAIR signals or whatever were non-specific so considering I went in for tension headaches and all, they think it could be the migraines just showing up. Here is how my brother in law took it all in. He doubts MS because I've had no limb problems or eye problems, not female and not living in Northern US...age is a little older than average onset. Lyme disease..I'd have had fevers, etc., rashes. Vasculitus..not sure but he didn't think so because not many symptoms. Ischmic changes..storke type things..not really unless my A-fib caused it long ago

Are you saying they aren't normal like they sound bad?From what all the docs said it wasn't anything urgent and should be nothing serious at all. There were no lesions or tumors. I'm worried a little but glad to know that I had it. Actually slept well. From what I've read and heard from people it may just be headaches or anything. I think, knowck on wood, MS and some others usually show lesions and other problems.
