Right abdomen pain

Months ago (maybe 5 or more), I was working at a retirement home restaurant. I was holding a huge thin metal dray with plates of desserts in front of me, with the edge resting against my right lower abdomen, right under my rib cage. I wasn't paying attention, and ran into a refrigerator with the tray still in the same place. The tray went pretty far into under my rib cage, and then I bounced back. Ever since then I have had a slight uncomfortable feeling on that side. Recently I have noticed after being slightly constipated, and working out, a lot of pain/soreness in that area, and in my right lower back. I was curious if I might have damaged my liver awhile back, and maybe symptoms are showing now? I know the liver heals itself though, so I am not sure if I should just wait for it to still heal, or if I should get it checked out? Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. I will probably end up doing that so I won't have to keep worrying. Thanks again.

I would get it checked out just to be on the safe side. You may have pulled a muscle or bruised something, but you need to find out for sure.  Take care.
