I totally understand what your going through. I have suffered with OCD for as long as I can remember. I am 38 and am still on meds for this medical problem. Trust me, please, you will get better with some medication. Do you see that what you do, that you mentioned, doesnt make a whole lot of sense? This is a confusing disorder that can and does make most people with it feel abit crazy. I can remember when I was about 5-6, when I walked to school with my big brothers, if we crossed the street at a certain point, I would HAVE to remember were we crossed on the way home and beg my brothers to cross there. I always had to go OUT the IN door because I went in the IN door. I dont mean to scare you, but the compulsions and obcessions ALWAYS multiply and grow stronger. Please dont worry about seeing a doctor, they know what this is all about. This is a disorder that usually runs in the family, ask Mom and Dad about relatives. My twin sister developed this in her 20's and my 13 year old daughter has it also. You are NOT alone. Good Luck and dont fight it to much:)
thank you.
i will keep you updated.

You are going to be o.k.! The doctor isn't going to try to convince you to not do those things. The doctor understands your condition and that you have no control over it. What the doctor will do, however, is maybe give you medication that will subside the urge to do these things. I have OCD - believe me, you will feel a hundred times better once you get treated for it. My OCD caused me severe anxiety because things were always getting "messed up" as your parents did to your plate. You'll be happy you went to the doctor.
