SEVERE ANXIETY OR IS IT

Hello I am a father of 3 kids been out of work for over a year now just getting by with side jobs. I have been Havin alot of heart palpitations lately. I also know I have anxiety issues. Years ago I had a anxiety /panic attack where I could walk talk speak and all but could not see at all everything just went black to me. Went to the er and was givin valium and boom the lights came back on immediately. That was a very scary situation for me. Then I went thru a period of my life where I had a severe head acke and ear acke which went on for over a year and no doctor could figure out why had numerous cat scans x rays u name it they tried it was in numerous drugs for pain and the infection Finally was told to go check with my dentist well that was the issue the whole time I had 2 absence  teeth in the back of my mouth. Suited to a different antibiotic and boom the seedling and infection started going down. I had like a baseball size puss pocket in my head lost hearing in that ear for over 2 years from it. Now prior to that I wasn't a stranger to surgurys I had 13ear surgurys and 5 foot surgirys so alot of trama I went thru. My tooth thing really seemed to mess me up I thought I was dieing for a long time. Now I am getting heart palpitations that come on out of the blue and skip every few beats for over a half hour at a time which really scares me I do have a cardiologist and he said my heart was normal. I also find myself dreading to go ANYWHERE other than my house if I go out I seem to have gotten into a rythem where my breathing matches my heart beats as I feel my heart beat 24 7 for some reason I know I am stressed to the max but this heart thing really scares me badly. Anyone else have anything like this happening to them Any reply is a good reply thank you for your time

i can relete to your pvc. i am 52 and have had them since i was 12, i have the fast heartbeat. the slow heart beat. the skip heart beat. the fluttering heart. the painful heart beat , yup ive had them all i have had 10 weeks of the straight no releif and they were every other beat for 10 weeks, ive had them once a day to none at all for 2 years, so they come and go as they plz. yes they will scare you to death, and i to went house bound off and on, than i got mad, i wanted to live my life and enjoy it with my hubby and kids so i said forget this, i went and had every heart test you could think of, ekg, echo, stress test with dye, 3o day heart montor and all were good so i said ok , you can pap all you want but i will not stop living for you anymore , strange thing they started to go away, less of them now i might have one in a blue moon, if they come i still go out and enjoy life, if you do not get a hold of them they will DISTROY YOUR LIFE. they will house bound you , give you anxiety/stress/panic. dont let them run your life. pick yourself up and go with them. have a friend/family member /mate that you can call when it scares you, so they will know its going on and where your at so you will feel better . talk to them until they have passed and your ok. no they will not kill you, they will not give you a heart attack, they will not damage your heart. they are just there to distroy your life and sare you .

go to the rythem site on here you will read lots lots about them , you will see your not alone. good luck and keep in touch.

Well you certainly have had your share of problems, anyone would have anxiety after all of this.  The heart palpitations can be caused by anxiety and they have ruled out your heart so I feel it's safe to say it is anxiety causing this. Also, since things get worse when you leave your "safe place" this points to anxiety. The best thing for you to do is see a psychiatrist for an evaluation of your symptoms and go from there.  It's mind boggling what anxiety can do to us and that's why we need to act quickly so that it doesn't snowball out of control.  You're fearing health problems which is feeding your anxiety and keeping it strong, once you break this cycle you can ease your anxiety.  Therapy can help as well as medication and this is why I suggest you see a psychiatrist.  He can refer you to the proper therapist and is most knowledgeable when it comes to the medication to control your symptoms.  If you read through some of the posts on here you will find that many of us have this same heart issue.  You truly need to address the anxiety now that all other causes have been ruled out....you can feel better!  I hope this helps and we're always here for you!
