Thanks for the support!
Maybe i do need to see a specialist, whether i'll believe what he tells me or not i dont know, because whenever im just thinkin everythins gonna be ok, i start feeling my pulse all the time in my head/arms/hands etc.
But thanks for the advice, i will use it wisely!
Andy
sorry, i just realised you say you have already been to the doctors. Mine put me on beta blockers which help with the physical symptoms.
Do you also find it difficult to sleep? Restless legs in bed? hard to concentrate? The description of having a constant pulse is spot on. It helps to learn about GAD, then you will realise that its not dangerous and learn to deal with it, therapy, medication and relaxation all really help. I'd speak to your doctors again and ask them to refer you to an anxiety specialist. This is really important, don't let them fob you off just with pills, demand to be referred to a specialist. Once you speak to an expert it'a a 100 times better just to know whats happening to you.
Godo luck
Hi Guys,
Sounds like you have the same as me. I've been diagnised as having General Anxiey Disorder (GAD). Feels like you are nervous all the time right? Worried abotu soemthing, but nothign in particular, you just have the physical symptoms of worry?
You're not alone, 1000's of peopel suffer too. I'd get yourselves down the doctors, medication and therapy can really help.
That is exactly what I am feeling man!!!! Dude this is soo scary to me most of the time. Any other symptoms man??
I have been having the same experience!
It feels like my stomach is either really full, or swollen.
And when i sit up straight or lay down i have some palputations.
Also i have a near constant feeling of a pulse in my body.
Some months ago i have had ECG's and some blood tests and everything was fine.
Also i play football 3 times a week, and keep myself really fit.
Everyone tells me its anxiety so thats what im trying to believe its hard though :(
Write back man x
