Sorry, ryno23, meant to address comment to easy1ones.
Low blood sugar can be responsible for shaking, too. Read up about it. Cut out sugar and processed/refined food, carbonated beverages, alcohol and smoking, as they all can exacerbate a low blood sugar condition. Drink pure water frequently. Get at least one or two bites of protein or a protein drink every 2-3 hrs. Make sure you're getting enough rest. Make sure that you spend at least 1/2 hr a day doing something that you really enjoy. All tiny things, taken one by one, but should help, both before you get to the dr for an evaluation, and as lifelong habits. Caffeine is not at all good for anyone prone to shaking or self-consciousness around others. Best wishes.
You need to see a medical doctor first to make sure you don't have a different condition. If you're otherwise healthy, its probably panic attacks. Then you need to see a psychiatrist for medication and a psychologist to talk about your anxieties. I know Paxil is used to treat panic attacks, social anxiety, etc. In the mean time, I know going for walk, reading a good book, or hanging out with a really good friend help me when I am feeling anxious.
