Stomach moves on heartbeat

Hello people.

My heartbeat is very strong, I can see it beat very well in my chest when i'm just standing there and watch it! I'm not in panic or scared, but it just seems to be there 24/7 .. Everytime i watch it it's there! I can see it in my stomach aswell! All the time .. When i play footy and lay down after the match my heartbeat in my stomach is so strong it makes my mobile phone jump! Yes I mean jump! It's an inch above my stomach .. Sometimes even more! I had a few panic attacks a year ago! But now I don't get panic attacks anymore .. I had a traumatic experiance, I found my dad who was dead on his bed .. Tryed to save his life but failed! Can this be caused because of that? Or anxiety? I have no others symptoms .. And I don't feel my heartbeat when I don't watch it! Like when I play football, I don't feel it! But after the match I think ah let's check if it's still there! And it is, and I feel it aswell when I watch it .. What do you guys say? Can my heartbeat beat stronger when I watch it? Can it change from beating normal to beating very strong in 1 sec by just me watching it? I had an ultrasound for my stomach! But everything was fine .. Please help me .. Because sometimes I just feel like my heart is gonna explode or something, because it beats so strong!

The docter told me it's anxiety and doesnt want to do more tests because he's sure! But I just can't understand how my heart can beat so strong (24/7) I can watch it in my stomach and chest so well! But like i said before, when I'm not watching it, it seems to be fine .. Atleast I don't feel it, so I don't know if it beats normal as soon I don't think about my heartbeat ..

I'm 21 years old, 16 stone (so overweight) and 1 meter 89 .. Please someone answer my questions!

Sorry for my bad English! I'm dutch .. But I searched for people in Holland who have the same as I do, but I can't find any on the internet, so i searched in English and found this site!

Thanks,

Jeroen ..

I've got massive anxiety issues and this happens to me a lot as well. I'd assume that it's anxiety related until a doctor says otherwise. And yeah, your heartbeat can definitely get stronger if you're paying attention to it with anxiety. Check out some of the other threads, lots of people with anxiety start to constantly worry about their hearts.
