I screwed up on the med he is taking ceriquil or however that could be spelled. and to respond to Suzi-q, yes is a very fortunate person, he has a very loving and close family. (the fact that he has such a good family is one of the reasons this situation doesn't sit right with me, I could understand if he came from a broken home or something where he would search out parental figures) He and I have been very good friends since junior high school.
As far as an update goes for today, He came to work didn't act all paranoid, worked hard, and didn't act like anything at all happened. He was actually in a really good mood.
Does he have any family? I would confont them because it is obvious that Jed doesn't see a problem...Let them know what is going on at work and your concerns. You are a good friend.
Do you know if Jed is talking to a mental health professional? Talking this out with someone is an immense help with depression and a whole bunch of other issues. Clonazepam is usually prescribed for anxiety.
I applaud you for your concern over your friend. In my opinion, the first thing is get him somewhere to talk with someone about this as soon as possible. Please keep us posted.
