Stress/Heart

HI, I am a little concerned about the way I feel. I am 56, Low blood pressure, low cholesterol, 5'5, 115-120 pounds, we eat well but I have been under a lot of stress the past 5 or 6 years. We lost everything through real estate, my daughter had a spinal cord injury and my husbands company decided for him to retire early. I work as a graphic designer; now free lancing. Up to last year, I was very optimistic and positive energy.  I can feel how is has changed; especially after he lost his job.  I am very tired and i feel strange things going on in my heart. I know it is not right. I am a little light headed also. Any suggestions?

mammo is right, see your doctor and rule out any medical issues. With the stress you have been under it would not be unusual for you to be suffering from anxiety as a result. I hope your testing comes back ok and you are able to find help and feel better very soon! Keep us updated

Yes, get in and get a good check-up by your doctor.  This could be attributed to anxiety but at your age.......any age, you need to rule out all other causes first.  You know your body best and if you feel something is not quite right, get it checked out.  See your doctor and go from there.  Take care!
