i can't even begin to tell you all how thankful i am for finding this site and all of your advice so far. The biggest and best help for me that i have learned from what everyone is saying is to not let it get me - talking myself out of a panic attack, reprogramming what i am thinking is happening with what is really happening. it worked x3 so far! If i have had the same feelings for close to 20 years, and got through them, then i can keep getting through them and i am not going to die or go crazy from them- it only took this long to figure that one out!
But of course when you are in the throngs of a panic attack nothing is comforting! thank you all so much!!
IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU.......WISH YOU THE BEST....
its hope and help for your nerves its a very good book

Whats the title of the claire weeks book?
Thanks, Aaron
am reading a book by claire weeks that says you have to face it head on, dont run from it , let it happen and keep telling yourself its not going kill you , than you will get used to it and it will go away . so every one different lol
Good for you in taking steps toward an anxiety-free life. Keep me posted
I have a 2 yr old myself, so that will be tough tor me as well. But if it is going to help, I am all for it. I have tried so many self-help books ie Lucinda Bassett.
they do not help, I think that I acquire some of the anxiety symptoms that I never had.
Keep me posted,
Lorrie
Best of luck to you!! I'll be checking in for the updates!!
