First of all, anxiety CAN do SO many things to our bodies. I thought I have experienced every single symptom... but no no no... theres always something lol.
Here are symptoms I have had:
Extreme paranoia feeling in my stomach for days/weeks
Trembling in hands/legs.
Tingly skin sensation
Trouble breathing
Heart palpitations
Pacing
Constant Mind Chatter
Depersonalization
Extreme sensitivity to gag reflex
Changes in bowel movements and digestive system
Loss of appetite for weeks
Headaches and STRANGE head pains/jaw pains etc.
Color bone pain
Stiff neck and back
Tingling in fingers (pins and needles feeling, like ive lost circulation)
So there are MANY MANY feelings and sensations of anxiety. Some we just can't explain why we have. The brain is very very strange.
So can I ask, have you been tested for HIV? I'm sure you do not have it. But if you are making yourself suffer by thinking "what if?" then you should just get a test done, so you can get that clean bill of health. =)
My buddy did this, and he just worried hisself sick for weeks... finally he got the test done... and she was clean. And she was like "why didnt i do this much sooner? i could have saved myself from feeling like this!"
Good luck to you. Try to just relax. Everything is okay. =)
I am now having feelings of a nurning sensation. Like icy hot or ben gay on my feet. Can anxiety cause this?
Yes, I have had anxiety in the past. This anxiety episode began a little over a month ago. I had headaches, stiff neck, itchy skin on legs, scratched so hard it scabbed in certain parts, had trouble breathing, lighthead, dizzy feeling. About 2 weeks ago those symptoms subsided. About 10 days ago my foot symptoms started. Can my foot symptoms be anxiety as well? I don't think anxiety can manifest itself with tingling/buzzing sensations on my foot, can it? I been feeling pain in my right ankle now. It feels hot and cold as well now. I'm going crazy here.
How long have you been suffering from this anxiety? Anxiety can affect us all in many different ways and it can definitley be scary and confusing. Have you had anxiety issues in the past? Are you recieving counseling for your anxiety?
I'd like to clarify that the pain is only slight. It comes for about a minute and goes.
