Can anxiety cause twitching, one night my toe was twitching then my leg then my upper leg then my arm,.,, i hope it doesnt get higher to my brain.. anyways i also have a fever can anxiety cause that too?
I absolutely believe anxiety causes twitching. My legs and arms and and back and belly will do it all the time, mostly when I'm lying in bed trying to go to sleep (this is when the anxiety likes to get me too). Weird huh? Maybe it's because we are tensing up and then the muscles just have to release...It would feel kind of cool if it weren't because of such sucky reasons... and higher to your brain? I don't think you need to worry about that, unless you are a muscle head. : )
I have had for two weeks now twitching in my foot toe the one next to largest thumb toe on right foot, have felt at times my thumb twitch too but very rare, also feel every so often next to my ear temple are think called a twitch which seems to have the same rythm beat as that of toe sort of jerky twitchy vain movement but that is maybe once every couple of weeks or month that is when I have to get up when feeling both toe twitch or bend about every second sometimes twice othertimes 5 times a minute, when walking forget it or moving but when in bed just irritates rather just get up than think what can be done. Any advice please. Thanks
