Anxiety becoming physical?

This year has been the hardest one of my life because of this ordeal. I am a 19 year old male who has always taken my health seriously and am athletic. In the beginning of this year i experienced some things that made my anxiety go way up. After this I started getting intense tingling feelings all across my body which scared me and further escalated my anxiety. As well as that I have very dry eyes which make me think I have an autoimmune disease called Sjögren's syndrome. I am not making these numbers up in the course of 6 months I have seen 7 doctors had 3 MRIs a cat scan 21 blood tests including Ana's, SSA , SSB sed rate, cbc, wbc, creatinine filtration rate c reactive protein and many more and every single test I do comes back normal. No matter how many doctors I see and tell me I'm fine and no matter how many normal test results I get  I have this extreme fear of autoimmune diseases drives me insane some days the panic is so severe I can't do normal activitys and I feel like I am literally dying and my hair is falling out from constant stress. Has anyone else ever had anxiety symptoms turn physical? Or could this be something the tests missed. I genuinely have been tested for so many things. Thank you all very much

I'm starting to get physical symptoms from anxiety as well! I have the tingling pins & needles sensations all over my arms & legs and my stomach is all in knots. I get light-headed sometimes and dizzy. It's exhausting. All my health tests have come back healthy and normal, I'm going to see a psychologist about this next week.

Chronic anxiety does produce physiological symptoms.  But they can differ wildly between individuals, and it doesn't mean what you're suffering is caused by anxiety.  That's usually the diagnosis when docs can't find a cause, but sometimes you just haven't seen the right doc.  In your case, though, it does sound like you're becoming pretty obsessive in thinking about autoimmune disorders.  Are you therapy for your anxiety problem?
