Hey my friend im a 32year old male and i am going through wat u r. Fog feeling, lightheaded all day, fatigue and other symptoms u are not alone. What all tests have u had done?
Oh and by the way I have also been experiencing vision problems: like sensitivity to bright light and sometimes halos at night as well as blurred vision.
Tests: First my doc went the neurological route and I had a brain and spinal MRI both came out clean... thank god
I had a ton of blood work done including Epstein Barr and Lyme Disease
went to an eye doctor
I went to an ear nose throat specialist and did hearing tests
Most recent I've ben worked up by a cardiologist who did a stress test/heart sonogram and a 24 hour heart monitor
I still am due for some vertigo test
just writing this it sounds crazy...I know... but this has been my life for the past two months! I went from being someone who NEVER goes to the Dr. to someone who is in and out it seems every week!
I'm currently taking clonazepam for anxiety which seems to help... but my Dr. gave me the name of some therapists and I think I need to seriously consider counseling...I'm tired of trying to explain to people how I'm feeling...and then getting that confused look.
I expierince all these symptoms. Like dizzy, out of balance, I sometimes see a lot of eye flotters, bakpain, and I think the foggy thing that I feel is caused by hyperventilation.
Hi,
You've done the responsible thing. Gotten every possible medical test to rule out a serious medical condition that could be causing your distress. Don't stress yourself by comparing past with now. Lots of us hate going to docs and taking meds.
You are simply reaching out. Good for you. The medical tests are almost over. Will soon be behind you.
Glad to hear you are taking clonazapam. It is a great long lasting anti anxiety med.
Having said that: there is no one medication that will work without therapy.
A saying here is: medication is 1/3 of the answer: the other 2/3 is up to us. Finding and using techniques to get us back to a full life. Most all of us have been in therapy, and I recommend it if you can afford.
When you are ready, we will share tips that work for us. Keep posting. We are here for you.
I tested positive for Lyme disease! Then took a further test for Lyme that came back negative...so frustrating...what are all of you doing for your conditions etc.?
