Why am i worse off clonazapam and aderol(adderall)?

by Shauna70, Mar 03, 2009 06:09PM
I was on aderol (adderall) for serveral years or ADHD and took clonazapam as needed.  I could not sleep last few years so I took 1/4 of a 1mg pill. It helped me sleep ..I took myself off aderol (adderall) and it almost put me in the hospital the withdrawals were so severe.  I have been off aderol (adderall) since August... My anxiety has been worse since off aderol (adderall).   I couldn't get weaned off the clonazapam either. It has taken me many many months to get off of it. At one point I went back on the clonazapam a little here and there to take the anxiety edge off.  Then I started feeling funky taking more of the clonazapam.  So I went back to the Dr and he gave me Librium to help wean off of it.  I finally got rid of the withdrawals but now im so stressed out with anxiety i cannot get through the normal day to day things. Everything in the world is stressing me to the max.  I cannot take the clonazapam during day or I fall asleep.  I don't know if Im having major body withdrawals or side effects. It took me many months to get off these meds and now the Dr has put me back on them. I do not know what is going on with me. Anyone have any clue?

Its withdraws

Thats the problem with Physc. Meds, they take forever to withdraw from.
The healing of your brain is a very slow proccess.
Im Glad to hear you got off the Adderall (adderrall), That stuff does nothing but ruin a person.
But, thats coming from a person who doesnt believe in ADD, ADHD.
Why are you bouncing around with Klonopin and Librium?
Librium is a Benzodiazapine, just like Klonopin "Clonazepam"
Withdraws from any Benzo will take some time, and you will have "windows" of normality, and sometimes you will have rivers of pain.
BUT, even with the river, your body is still healing.
How long did you take the K for?
And did you ever take it at a maintnence dose "daily"?
