Would like off cymbalta

Hi. I take 60mg cymbalta. 1mg Ativan. And 150mg xl wellbutrin. I'm kinda not happy cymbalta is very impossible to get off of. But. It's the only drug that worked and no side affects. I've been on everything over 20 yrs. suddenly developing panic attacks ,anxiety and depression. Maybe Iam wrong but would like off the cymbalta but how ? Plus I do suffer scalp issues and hair loss and it drives me nuts. On hair vitamins and b vitamins and fish oil and started nioxin shampoo and scalp treatment and the follicle booster

You say Cymbalta worked, but yet you're on two other drugs.  The combination of Cymbalta and Wellbutrin is especially odd, as both are quite stimulating.  Getting off means a long, slow taper that takes as long as it takes for you, but most people do get off these meds eventually.  My only question is, again, if it's working so well, why are you in need of two other meds, and why do you want to stop taking it?

It sounds like you need to find out which one of your meds is causing the anxiety. Both of them are more stimulating meds so it could be either one of them. Were you on Wellbutrin first and did well on it? Or, were you on Cymbalta first? If you really think Cymbalta is the med causing your anxiety you need to work with your Dr as far as tapering off it. Getting off it can be done. I took it myself and was able to taper with my Drs help until I was completely off it.
