i have had it for the last 10 year at least
Everyone has anxiety during stressful times... when people have an anxiety and/or panic disorder, we can't separate out legitimate issues that we should be anxious over, and pointless worries, and we can't control the degree to which the anxiety preoccupies us.
Regardless of whether we need medication and psychotherapy, or behavioral therapy alone, anxiety can be managed through the means that best work for you. Once you learn how to manage your anxiety, you can prevent it from negatively impacting your life. Some folks will always have a panic disorder, and some of them will do the work and make the effort to manage it.
Not always. If your anxiety has a root cause which is normally a traumatic event from our past, and you learn what that is....you can often deal with it....easing your anxiety. Some of us never know why we have anxiety and it is a lifelong thing....and that's okay. We have to often look at anxiety as any other medical condition that requires daily medication to control the symptoms. With therapy you can learn if you have a root cause for yours, and I wish you all the best.
