advice...heard an evil voice while falling asleep?!

Hi,

I just wanted some advice, for some time now I have been suffering from seeing/hearing random images/noises while falling asleep - which has not concerned me. The things I see are when my eyes are closed, and normally the noises/sounds are random gibberish etc.

However last night when I was trying to sleep I heard an evil kind of voice say:

"Your mine now"

Or something nasty like that! It was definitely inside my head...is this something I should be worried about? I barely got any sleep and feel awful now - and am worried about schizophrenia yet again :(
I should add I suffer from GAD and OCD.

IMO...you need to see your doctor.  There are many more likely causes than Schizophrenia.  Sleep disorders can cause these kinds of symptoms, One that comes to mind that can cause almost "paranormal type experiences" is Sleep Paralysis.  I'm suspicious of something like that since most of the events you describe are some time before/during your sleep cycle.

Any which way...get to your doctor to sort out what is going on.  And remember the power of suggestion in our minds is a very real thing.  The longer you worry about seeing or hearing things, the better likelihood of something actually happening.  Our imaginations can conger up all kinds of things.  Try not to worry too much until you see your doc.
