aniety or muscle spasms

About 6 months ago. I went home after painting a trailer for a couple of hours. Around dinner time I had heartburn after eating some pasta. But then both my arms had felt like if they had fallen asleep and the left side of my head felt same. I started to panic thinking I was was having a heart attack. My heart was racing, blurry vision , and I felt like I could barely breathe. Long story short, ER doctors said paint fumes were the cause of blurred vision and muscle spams were the cause of falling asleep sensation in my arms. The rest was cause of a panic attack and I haven't had that since high school. I still get anxiety when I drive or when not home for awhile.  this When I drive (not always but often) my left arm feels like felt asleep, then the same for my right, and then the left side of my head. I get and my heart starts to race. The sleep feeling usually goes away in a couple of minutes as soon as I can snap of the scared feeling. But the question is the arms/head sleep thing muscle spam like my doctor said or something else? Thanks for the help.

Anxiety often manifests itself in certain body parts, and each person with anxiety definitely knows where their anxiety likes to attack. Anxiety frequently creates a "pins and needles" or breaking feeling in bones or muscles. Restlessness and twitching may occur, too. I advise practicing some easy breathing techniques and a little trick called "tapping" that you can look up on the internet.
