Anxiety and dizziness

I have been dealing with anxiety for years now. Three years ago I had a  breakdown ever since then I have been dealing with dizziness. I have had all the test done that I could think of all of which came back ok.Someone told me that anxiety can cause people clench there jaw or grind there teeth in there sleep which causes inflammation around the ears causing dizziness. Is this true. Also has anyone cured there anxiety that then cured there dizziness.

Hey there,

Normally I do not suffer from vertigo.  Years ago I had a bit of it, and went thru the test poppiedo refers to.  No meds were given, just an explanation that occasionally 'rocks' are loose in ear....

Recently, I noticed I had  a very sore ear.  Pain would wake me up, and I couldn't sleep on it.
Went to another ENT, who said it was not wax, and checked my mouth. He saw effects of my nightly grinding.   He said that was the core problem.  He just said to take aspirin or similar tab and it would pass.  I wear an Invisalign retainer which helps some.  He said it wouldn't help to spend more money on a mouth guard.  He'd seen them chewed through!

Best.....

Medications can cause dizziness, if you're taking anything call your pharmacist and see if dizziness is a side effect.
