Well Toots, hopefully that's why your doc wants to talk to you again on Wednesday. Physically he has found you are healthy, but if he is as smart as I hope he is, he picked up on your underlying anxiety..........saw how hyper-vigilant you are about these feelings.
Anxiety, especially health anxiety, can get out of control so quickly, we don't even know it's happening until we find ourselves frantically searching the Net in a state of hypochondriacal frenzy for our latest fatal illness.
If your doc wants to see you Wednesday just to go over something like a low mineral count and give you a script, make sure YOU bring up your inability to stop focusing on your episodes of lightheadedness. Don't be afraid to be proactive in your own health care. You have questions that will help you feel better, he has the answers to accomplish that.
Peace

THank you for you reply. Yeah, I've spoken with my doctor already last week and he made me get a couple tests done (blood test, ekg, chest x-ray) and he called me on the phone 2 days ago saying that everything was fine. He's asked me to come in on Wednesday though, so I'll definitely talk to him about it. I just have a feeling that this is all in my head because sometimes when my mind is off of it, it doesn't happen. I think the reason it doesn't happen as much in school is because Im always busy with schoolwork so my focus in that. And at home, it still happens but not as much as when I go out. THe problem is, I just can't stop focusing on it.
Since this is apparently a new symptom that began quite suddenly, I would definitely recommend you speak with your doctor or neurologist. There are so many things that can cause lightheadedness, the only sure way to stop it is to figure out why it's happening. And only a doctor is going to be able to tell you that.
With a history of migraines, it's really important to keep your neurologist informed of anything new going on.
If these episodes don't bother you as much when you're home or at school, two places that I assume are "comfort zones," then it's possible that when you go out, either with friends or family to places that aren't in your comfort zone, you feel this more intensely.
I wish I had an easy fix but I don't. Please see your doctor, he/she will be able to tell you how to stop it.
Peace
