You are right, you still have time to wait for your test....so wait.  The symptoms that you are reading about manifest themselves AFTER you read about them.  This is clearly indicative of the fact that you are creating these symptoms within yourself.   You need to stop giving your brain a list of ways to hurt you.

What you are doing is not looking for symptoms you are experiencing, you are looking for symptoms TO EXPERIENCE.  When you are tempted to look for symptoms online, look at this forum instead.  There is nothing else you can do now but wait for the test.  Stop making it worse on yourself.

I agree 100% with Kim.  As a side note, this seems to be VERY VERY VERY common in people that think they have contracted HIV.

Short answer is yes.  If you believe you have particular symptoms, go get it checked out by your doctor.  If the doctor says that you are okay, then it is most likely anxiety.

I had my first panic attack three years ago and thought that I was having a heart attack.  Multiple trips to the ER with multiple tests and reassurances from the doctor did not help at first.  I would spend hours looking up my symptoms online (which I really do not suggest) and convince myself that I had SOMETHING.

I have chest pains, headaches, leg aches, arm aches and yes, it can all manifest itself from worry.  As you worry, it starts to take a toll on you both physically and mentally.  There are many avenues to confront this way of thinking though.  For me, talking it through with a therapist, was a great way to understand the cycle.  There are also various medications that can help you while you learn about this way of thinking.  This forum is also a great tool to talk with people who understand what you are going through.
