If you know what causes it, a therapist is the best help, as cj suggested. There are natural remedies for anxiety, but since you have heart problems, you'd need to talk to a physician or naturopath about them so you don't take ones that might conflict with your treatment. But again, since you know what causes this, a therapist can help you demystify it, which is the only true cure.
no i dont have access to a counselor, but i know what it is caused from. I have a defribulator and it has shocked me a few times and ever since then i get scared it is going to shock me again. I can't stop thinking about it and it causes me to get anxiety especially when i have to leave my house.
There are many things you can do, but I believe the most important aspects of dealing with anxiety is learning, accepting, and confronting it. Do you have access to counselors (i.e psychologists, therapists, etc)? In my opinion, gaining the long term knowledge about anxiety/panic gives you the power to overcome it.
