I had Oral sex and now have a sore throat, what is it?

Hi guys,

I am a gay guy and i recently had an encounter with a stranger.

We did not have anal sex we only did UNPROTECTED oral sex, he ejaculated in my mouth. He said he was clean STI/HIV free, however he had never been tested. He seemed healthy and the penis was clean.

After he ejaculated in my mouth I went home did a salt gargle and drank warm water.

The next day I woke up with a sore throat, very mild, i also had runny stool. But as soon as I forgot about how sore my throat was it went away. I was reading up on Google etc.. and it said that STI symptoms take anywhere from 2 days to months to develop and HIV can be quite a long time and you only see symptoms 3-4 weeks after exposure.

So personally I think it could be a bacterial infection, or pure anxiety, it was the second time in my life i had given oral to a man so I suppose my body isn't Used to it as well.

Its been 72 hours since the encounter the throat problem has subsided however i still have quite runny stool (not as runny as it was)

Could anxiety given me those symptoms, I was extremely worried.

I haven't had any problem on my testes or penis or in the pubic region.

Well, for starters, the sore throat could simply be from the encounter in and of itself. Since it went away, it's probably nothing to worry about. The stool could be from a variety of things. It's definitely possible that the cause could be anxiety, or it could be a coincidence. Perhaps it was something you ate or you were just sick. Of course, it's never really safe to take a stranger's word when they say they're clean, especially if they haven't been tested. Even if they truly believe it themselves, they may have something. It wouldn't hurt to be tested. I'm in no way a professional (or especially educated on std's) but that's just my personal input. Hope it helped!!

Im going to be tested at 12 weeks just to be sure. Myy throat has come back and I still have loose stool but Im showing no other symptoms of HIV at all.

I have white streaks on  my tonsils which I think could be strep or tonsillitis but Im getting them checked on early next week, I am still super scared and keep lookin things up on the internet every time I notice something different on my body like today I noticed a Boil the looked up "Does HIV cause Boils" no anxiety does so I think I need to cool and just be relaxed.
