buspirone

does buspirone make anyone else feel high when it first kicks in? hey im not complaining lol but just wondering if this is normal, kind of like a painkiller in a way, slows me wayy down

All meds can have side effects. We never know which ones, if any, we're going to have. With these meds it's not uncommon at all to feel sedated or a little strange at first. I hope you do well on it. Remar

Very common.  As time goes by the side effects lessen.  All antidepressants can raise pain toleration.  Again, it may be more evident in first week or so.  

The slow-down is to be expected.  If you were super anxious to start with, this med will calm you down.  Again, side effect should lessen with time.  

Your mind is adjusting to chemical assistance.  Believe if you post here a few weeks hence,  you will be enjoying feeling on top of things.     Good luck!

well last night i woke up feeling VERY jumpy and couldnt stop moving, kept waking myself up, shaking and like almost having spasms, could this be from the medicine?
