Hi everyone,
I am 24 female and have always had a faster heart rate. I am currently on 35mg of toprol..and although it helps some, not always. Over the past 5 years i have been to 4 cardiologist. They said my heart is faster at times, but nothing to worry about. It's sinus rythm. They found a small PFO, on accident during testing, and said it is nothing to worry about. That 1 in 4 people have them, and most of them don't know it. It isn't even detectable on a echo. My echo's look great. My question is, during a time of anxiety, does anyone notice their heart beat is constantly higher? It seems mine stays higher, and then when my bout of anxiety gets better...so does my heart rate. It's still a bit higher, but slower than at the anxiety times. Just curious if anyone else had anything remotely similar.
Thanks
