clonazepam

I've been having anxiety since sept. of last year, mostly it revolves around my heart. I have high blood pressure and tend to think that I'm going to have a heart attack. The doctor has had me on 1mg of lorazepam  daily since november for my anxiety, I also take metoprolol. He just switched me over to colonazepam this week and has me taking .5mg  twice a day. I take one in the morning and feel pretty good all day long , almost normal. But when I take it at night I tend to get dizzy and I just feel weird , like I start having palpitations and get anxious and my sight seems like tunnel vision. Its kinda hard to explain. Has anybody had this kind of reaction. Do you think it is just my body trying to adjust to the new medication or should I talk to the doctor about a different doseing. It does do wonders through out the day, its just when I take it at night.

Today I feel so much better, last night I kinda had a panic attack but after I took my pill it helped allot. I think I'll stay on it and see what happens. Today is the first day I feel almost normal, it feels kinda weird to feel normal. Thanks for your reponses.

hi, i take klonopin same thig myself just stared this week only took 4 pills so far but it has helped me out a lot .i take it because of my anxiety trying to get over the hump, than hope to go off of it, there are a few who take it and love it , its a great pill you take it twice a day so it will level out and keep you calm all day, i started out taking half of a .05 in the am and half at night , am hoping not to go up anymore than .05 a day. i have had no problems other than i get tired more now, but they say that will go away when it gets in your system, maybe you should cut the night does down to half , call your dr and ask them , do as they say. but i know it will work good for you . did you try bb for the palps. i take timolol for mine works great been on it 15 years, did not want to do ssri for anxiety since am hoping mine will go away it happen over my moms surgery and my heart dr changing my meds 3 times in two weeks because i was to have flutters  6-7 a min for 9 weeks , but i got back on old meds and alls good now just waiting for anxiety to go away. its a great med so keep on it  but maybe you just need to lower the dose  call and ask dr. good luck
