what a sigh of relief that i dont have schizophrenia. worrying if i had a long term illness wouldnt let me sleep soundly for a good 2 weeks. thankyou for your help, knowing this i can go by my day much much much easier
Hi again. What you need to focus on is that you've already improved so much. You will get back to feeling like "you" again, it just takes some time. The more you busy yourself with other things, the faster you will improve. Busy yourself with some good activities...exercise, hobbies, etc.
You don't have schizophrenia. Your situation is all too common among people who have used various drugs. It's an anxiety response, and sometimes it is initially hard to shake off.
Again...keep focusing on the progress you made. You know you're getting better and it's hard to be patient, but try. You'll get there!
did it go away completely for you. and i only got high 3 times. the first time i was scared because i didnt know what the feeling was then it went away. the second and third time i was good. but the third time it was different i woke up the next morning feeling the same but i wasnt happy rather worried. after a while i started to worry and then i thought i had schizophrenia which put me down soo much and i started to worry even more. i have gotten better since the first day i felt like this i just want to know if i can do anything to cure it completely.
Yep don't do it again I tried it again and got the same feelings and I developed anxiety disorder
First thing to remember is that the marijuana did not harm or damage you, You had an anxiety response to the way it made you feel, and often times when that happens, a person is left with residual anxiety. Depersonalization and derealization are common side effects of anxiety, and while they are scary, they also will not harm you.
The very best thing you could do is try to stay busy and preoccupied with things to keep you from ruminating about the way you feel. Distraction is a wonderful way to move past anxiety.
If you don't start feeling better, you may need to address the anxiety with a professional. Also, stay away from substances...drugs and alcohol. The chances are high that using a substance at this point would trigger the same kind of anxiety response and make you feel worse.
There are many threads in our forum about this exact topic, and the symptoms I described above (DP/DR)...do a search and read a bit, I think it will make you feel a lot better!

What u are experiancing is depesonalosation i have It for 3 months and evry second of my life I would look up crap on the Internet about it I know how u feel and it will go away!!!! Trust me just pay no attention to it it can't hurt you! Did u have a bad trip with weed ? just remember it will pass just live your life and pay no attention to it and it will go away if u need more advice mssge me
I am going to say WHY DID YOU DO IT??? But it could be almost like an anxiety thing, you might have felt sick after but now your mind is making you feel sick still because you feel guilty and are scared it has done something horrible to your body. If I was you I would definitely get it checked out by a doctor in case, cuz you could be allergic to it or anything. Just be safe and don't do it again. Good luck! xx
