hey there ...anxiety is very normal when you are dealing with stressed situation and many times you could not possibly be aware of it ..so dont worry ..anxiety in women will show itself as breathing problems and pounding heart (in men fight/flight situation) .. tightness in upperchest area..hyperventilating and such..you should see a physiatrist to prevent any long-term anxiety ...
I have a common but rarely diagnosed condition that very well could be what you have. It often presents during or right after pregnancy and will cause problems with breathing. Hopefully they checked for blood clots in the lungs as this is a concern for this condition called May-Thurner Syndrome. Even though doctors are pretty clueless about this, it is potentially serious and would definetely recommend getting checked for it. I had a stent placed at the site and within 24 hours my breathing was so much better as well as all the other problems I was having!
Hi davidswife94.
The good thing is that you were already checked
and it is NOT life threatening, so you know , you will not die from this.
The key words in your post are "feels like" and "2 weeks".
So you have an exaggerated real fear of something that is not substantiated by something real.
However, the feeling and the breathing difficulty are real by all means. I have no intention to question nor diminish those.
It all has to do with various causes and events preceding the onset of this, 2 weeks ago. Anything significant happened to perhaps trigger this?
Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, helpless, alone,
tired, hopeless, unappreciated, inadequate, unsupported,
trapped, unloved, misunderstood, broke.
Check as many as you feel apply to your situation.
How's your diet/nutrition, fitness, sleep quality, relationships, general health status?
Did you have any issues with anxiety in the past, hormonal imbalances, deficiencies, do you take any medications?
Please as answer as many questions as you can, so we can offer you a better educated opinion.
Best wishes,
Niko
