dizzyness

I have suddenly the past couple of days started to get dizzy for no apparent reason.  I am dizzy while I am laying down and especially when I go to bend down or lean down for something.  I know this may have nothing to do with it but my ears for the past couple of weeks have really been very ichy.  It is almost annoying.  Also, when I yawn sometimes it hurts my ears.  I know your balance/equilibrium is in your ears so I wondered if there was a connection?  Anyway, I wondered if this was something I should call my doctor about or just wait it out?  I have been under a lot of stress and haven't exactly been eatting right. Mostly living off coffee and snacks.  I know that can't be helping.  If anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks!
Heather

It sort of sounds to me like you were being blown off and everything was put down to anxiety.  If you don't feel better soon, I'd find another doctor or insist this one see you.  I know it's not always easy to find a new doctor, though.  Good luck with the healthy eating and vitamins.  I hope you feel better soon.

I did call my doctors office and just told them about what was going on and the nurse came back and said the doctor is going to send me some exercises. Yeah, that's what I need to do exercise!  I don't have to have a pill to cure what is wrong w/me but it sounded like she was blowing me off.  I just want to know if she thought it was stress and my lack of healthy eatting and it would have made me feel better.  Anway, I am back on my daily vitamin and eatting getting more protein in my diet.  I still have my Starbucks but I am cutting back.  Hopefully the dizzy feeling will subside.
Thanks!!

Stress will only get worse with only coffee and snacks as will your general health.  You could also have an ear problem.  From your description, you could also have postural hypotension, which is usually quite harmless.  You really should see a doctor to be safe and to put your mind at ease.  And eat right.  Good luck.
