I am a Trich success story.. I use to pull out my hair from the time I was about 13 until a few months ago.  I am 20 years old now.  I cant exactly explain how I did but I can tell you a few things that helped me out.  I had to get my self to the point where I was 'fighting' the urge to pull.  I use to get tingling sensations, escpecially when I was feeling emtional about something or I had something on my mind.  The biggest thing that helped me out was when I started tying my hair up all the time.  I had to get to the point where even if I wanted to pull there was no way for me to pull because I had my head covered up.  I have stopped now and my hair has grown tremendously with no bald spots.  Everynow and then I get the urge to pull but its ALOT less than before.  You can seek help but personally I think that its a self disipline thing.  I was tired of doing that too myself and tired of having low self esteem behind it.  You can do it but it will take hard work and discipline.
