Is this a side effect to xanax or something worse?
About 10 hours after taking a pill (.05) I start to get confused, disoriented, lose concentration, become clumsy, feel like I'm detached from society, my brain becomes foggy and I have some short term memory loss. I had also recently quit caffeine which I was using quiet heavily, so I'm not sure if that might play a factor in my symptoms?
I usually feel better after some sleep, but to go through the day like this really *****.
By the way these symptoms are in no way related to anxiety, my anxiety symptoms are a lot more different than the symptoms im explaining.

Yea, sounds like you may be on too high of a dosage. Xanax is nasty.
your first time taking xanax? may want to go down to .25mg. you take it PRN? the feelings you discribe can come across like that, just that your body really REALLY relaxed. may want to start with .25, xanax has short half life.
