OK I'm n mental health court there fore cannot take a benzo for my anxiety but even thoe that is the only thing that works.. ( ugh ) so my question is is there any type of anxiety pill that is a non benzo but gives me the same effect? And not buspar bc that didn't work for me! Please help..
They gave me Wellbutrin but I read the side effects and I'm a lil worried to take it. I actually read online about lyrica. It's a non benzo but I read alot of ppl really said it works and it's something I'd b allowed to take. Won't show up on a drug test cuz it's non narcotics or benzo so think ima ask my doc for that and something else beside the Wellbutrin. Bc I am really funny about taken meds I've never taken. N I usually get the stupid reactions too. Like. Lumictual I can't spell only 3% get a rash I got the rash. It's so annoying I've been on so many different meds. I'm just at a lost on what to do anymore...
Hi go up to a vitamin shop and pick up some ''lemon balm'' it comes with a eye dropper...get some camamel tea and mix a dropper full in this will help the anxiety.................Gnarly.............................

nothing is really going to make you feel like benzos did and since that was one of your DOC's then it will be even harder to find something non narcotic that works.
if you are bipolar do they give you librium for the mania?? how do they treat that without something for mania?
this has to be really rough because you recently quit drinking.
the only other option is to give in and do a total life change.
figure out what diet helps with your issues, work out and work out hard.

Ohhhh I almost forgot...how about Atarax? Your doctor can prescribe after he makes sure you can take it. It is non-addictive and works for anxiety in smaller doses and helps with sleep in higher doses. Something to think about if you don't want to go the natural route.

I really think you should call GNC...get a list of natural remedies...at least 3 or 4 and then call your pharmacist. Your pharmacist can check the items against your current medications and tell you which ones you can take. There are some that work very, very well. Many addicts, including myself, do everything we can to avoid medications that are addictive including benzo's like valium so we go the natural route :-)

I've had it for yrs. N just can't get rid of it. I have panic attacks general anxiety disorder ptsd n bipolar. I've taken visteral n buspar together just gave me reversed effects. Had to stop taken it got an appt for 21 just seem so far away. Lot of bad crap going on n my life n I can't use so it's really hard not having anything to help wit the anxiety
I'm on visteral its non narcotic and non addicting and it works go see your doctor it really helps me when i get it its a prn taking only when needed
I agree with talking with your doctor or pharmacist. Where is the anxiety coming from?
Hi gypsy, I would call your doctor, or ask a pharmacist for some advice. Make sure you let them know anything, even over the counter, that you've been taking. Take care!
Well I am on different meds I just want something I guess that actually just relaxs me like a benzo been looking online they say something bout z drugs bout I have no idea what that could be??
Call your local GNC...there are natural products that help with anxiety like Valerian...however, if you have any health issues or are taking any other medications I would advise you talk to your doctor first before taking just to make sure there are not any adverse effects. That's why I said to call GNC.
