I don't know that I want to call you "paranoid." This is a crazy world we live in and damn near anything is possible, but in this case I have to wonder how anyone could jab you in the shank without you, at the VERY least, hearing the bushes rustling? One would also assume if you had been jabbed by someone, you would hear them running away. You have no wound to show anyone, no soreness, redness, swelling........nothing.
There is no way I can tell you for sure what happened because even YOU don't know. If you need to ease your mind, go to the doctor. If he/she finds no evidence of an injection site, then you can discuss with them any feelings of paranoia you have.
Hi Ruby,
At first, I was looking for the red hole on my shank, but I did not find any.(I am not sure what a needle wound looks like , so I just looked for red point on skin ) And I did not find any painful part on my skin on my shank when I examined it. The only obvious part does not look like new wound since it was black and did not hurt at all. Other parts, I did not feel anything when I touched them.
If I am really paranoid, are there any ways to help me get rid of that? Thanks.
I think your girlfriend was quite smart to show you how difficult it would have been for someone to hide in these particular bushes. I'm betting that a sharp twig or recently cut branch poked you.
When you examined your shank, did you find any kind of puncture wound? If you HAD been jabbed by a needle, there would be some kind of mark.
Personally I think you're being a wee bit paranoid, but if it will put your mind at peace, go see your doctor.
