well I had a heart cath done yesterday and the dr said i have a weak heart but that will not be the cause of me being dizzy and weak feeling...he said my EF is 45 i think so its not super super bad and he said its just that my heart is working to hard...so idk..i feel like my dr is not doing what he should to find out whats going on...how can anxiety make me feel like i have the flu or like im drunk i just dont get it....the heart thing they called cardiomyopathy (sp) anyone know about this??
When I wake up in the morning there are no symptoms initially but the minute i get up and start moving around they start up... lighteheadedness, nervous, tingling in legs and sometimes legs and arms... then it kinda eases off a bit throughout the day or not depending if I am having a particularly stressful day... so yeah i noticed it worse in the morning.... try deep breathing exercises i have found this works sometimes for me... also i am on Lexapro now to help stabilize while i go through therapy to root out the cause of this to begin with...good luck and keep us posted
thanks for the post...and email...I found out i'll be getting a heart cath in the am..there may be some fluid in my plur cavity and i may have stage 2 dyostlic dysfunction (sp) sorry..so my cardo wants to go in with a cath and see whats really going on as for the anxiety i hate living like this!! i always feel sleepy and sick..than again in the last month i have gave up caffiene...vicodin and now smoking...what the hell am i thinking?? i felt alot better when i did all of that stuff so why now that i quit do i feel so wore out????
Sorry you are going through such a hard time right now. When my anxiety was at it's worse I was dizzy all day long and it would be really bad in the morning and the evening.
Have you considered speaking to a psychatrist? If not it might be something you should think about. Honestly, I have been seeing mine for about a year & 1/2 now and I am in a much better place then I have been in a long time.
Please know that you can get better and that everyone here on this forum gets it. We have all been there in one way or another.
I hope you start feeling better soon.
Mine tends to happen when I am at work. Also, yes, the dizzy feeling can happen all day.
