I took .5 mg of klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer every 12 hrs (1 mg per day) for 4 months. After not getting the results I wanted, I switched from klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer to valium to see if valium would work better for panicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia attacks. I switched directly over from klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer to valium without tappering off the klonopin. I immedietaly started taking valium(20 mg per day) in place of the klonopin. I've been taking 5 mg of valium every 6 hours (20 mg per day) for a month now and it doesnt seem to work as well as the klonopin. If I want to switch back to klonopin, can I just switch back without tappering off the valium? Or do I have to taper of valium while re-introducing the klonopin. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. By switching back and forth, will tolerance become an issue?
It is the exact same amount if we were to size up the strengths of medication. Valium hits you quicker and has a very hard come down effect. I think your problem would be you would not be taken the klonopin every six hours. And I would wager a bet, if I was a betting person, that you would miss that hit in between the klonopin times. I would also merit a guess that you could replace the early morning and late night valium with the klonopin and maybe slowly come off the in between valium. Say about 3pm you take a valium. Don't just stop that one. Ease that one down. But I'm no doctor. Consult your doctor about this before you do it.
