sorry if I mentioned stuff in my post that you had already had done.  I guess I was typing when it was posted, so I didn't read it before sending my message.

Unless you can identify what is causing you stress or anxiety, other than the things you mentioned, then I wouldn't just settle for the old "it's just stress or anxiety" excuse that so many doctors are so quick to diagnose because they don't know what else it could be.  You know your body and what is normal for you, as far as feelings go, and if you feel like something is medically wrong then I would trust your feelings.  The sensations you described in your face and forehead and the sluggish feeling you mentioned (since you were active before) would be reason enough to check into it further.  You may not need an mri, there are blood tests and other tests  that can rule out or confirm other physiological explanations for what you are experiencing.  Your body is trying to tell you something and I think it is always smart to listen to it.  Wouldn't it be better to find out that it was nothing serious than to except the anxiety explanation and find out later the doctors were wrong?  I wouldn't be too quick to blame it on the OCD or anything else psychological.  I would want to rule out anything physically first.  One thing you can do is go to a site like webmd or any other site that offers a symptom checker where you can add the symptoms you are experiencing (and you may see some listed, for you to choose from that you didn't even think about before) and you will get a list of possible causes for your symptoms.  You can then take this to your doctor and discuss it with him or her.
Please don't second guess what your body is telling you and just accept that "it is all in your head".  I don't know if the website I mentioned will get deleted, so if it does just send me a note and I'll give it to you again.
I hope this helps a little and I wish you the best. Feel free to send me a message if you think I might be able to help more.
Good luck.

It does sound like it could be anxiety. I think you might have some agoraphobia as well, if you feel like that when you are in stores. What tests did the doctors actually do?
