keep focusing on my breathe

can anyone give me tips because i keep focusing on my breathe & its getting annoying because i never go out because of it.

I still focus on it!!! ive had times where its abit better but then comes back. Its not an easy thing to take control of and i havnt done that yet but i hope one day i will be able to. People always tell me i need a purpose in life, something to bring meaning back into it and to help me feel like i belong somewhere. Maybe they are right. but i still havnt seemed to sort this out :(
I guess maybe just try remind yourself that you dont need to be focusing on your breathing, that you wont stop breathing if your not paying attention to it. That your brain controls your breathing without you even thinking about it. Remind yourself to take in breaths through your nose.

I know how you feel. i have similar feelings. Sometimes i find if i distract myself it gets better but that isnt easy either.

I'm so sorry too dealing with this. All I really can say is the more you focus on it the more its going to effect you. I know its hard to not focus on it. But in order to get over it it will take time and alot of trying..

I used to focus on my heart so much it took over my life and I'm not completely over it but I don't focus on out as much anymore. Which has made me much better.

Try finding something to do to take your mind off it. Meditation reading painting watching movies exercise. Have you seen a dr or a therapist?? And are you on any meds??
